The retirement savings bill known as SECURE 2.0 Act of 2022 was signed into law by President Biden on December 29, 2022. Its many provisions attempt to address deficiencies in retirement plan participation and savings among workers by building upon the retirement-system improvements that were implemented under the SECURE Act of 2019.
