Legislative activity

Congressional hearings and other activity. Heading into the 2020 election cycle, benefits remain an important policy issue with bi-partisan support.

Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Act. The bill would extend dozens of expired and expiring tax provisions.

Expanding Access to Retirement Savings for Caregivers Act. The bill would allow for earlier catch-up contributions for individuals who spent a year or more out of the workforce as a caregiver.

SECURE Act passes House. The bill awaits passage in the Senate.
